About Me

I'm Adam. For the past 15 years, I've been working as an online educator for Lynda.com and LinkedIn Learning. My courses focus on relational databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Access, and other database design and development topics. I love introducing people to the world of structured data, and you can find my course listing in the top menu.

I have wide range of interests from nerd-hobbies like miniature painting and Arduino electronics, to gardening and home improvement. In the past, this diversity has held me back from blogging. The traditional train of thought is to keep things focused to find a niche audience. But I'm not focused, nor are my interests. So, this site will reflect that diversity.

I'm a big proponent of decentralized social media protocols, what's commonly referred to as the Fediverse. This blog is another way to provide content on the open web, on a platform that I fully own and control.

The blog is built with the static site generator eleventy.
